Jason,
I would like to take a box to my exercise group and have them fill it with whatever you, yourself needs or wants. And I would like to have another one to fill with what you would like to stock or give to the troops. Please give me some spacifics, so I can get this going and have some goodies for you.
I love your blog. Such great decriptions of where and what you are at the moment. It helps us all get a true feel (which is not especially a nice feel) of life for the combat military. You will make a difference...

Hey Jason! Nice Room! It sounds like you're settling in as well as can be expected, I'm sure there's a sense of relief now that you're actually there and you've got a good idea of what's going on. Just think of it as a 6 month trip to the desert without all the cool mountain biking and rock climbing! Ha! I recently camped in Rifle Mountain Park near Rifle Gap Falls and had no idea that it was such a mecca for rock climbers! I think I recall you climbing there at one time but I'm not sure. Have you? I thought of you when I was there. It's about 95 here in Carbondale and Jennifer and I have been working alot. We've all got the day off and were heading across the street to Mountain Fair, it's a 3 day hippie extravaganza. I beleive beer and sun are the order of the day and Cory (jz's ex) is playing on stage - should be a good time! Jen and i are planning a trip to see colleen, the kids and hopefully T & B in Oct. so we're really looking forward to that. What kind of food are you eating, probably crappy base food, huh? Too bad you can't run out to the local hot spot to sample some of the local cuisine! You really look like you're in the middle of know where! I love reading your blog and you are always in my thoughts! Take care of your self, love, Kelly
